When you go to the page you will see the Reinforcing Steel Material ID Log. You will see the following fields:
Project or subproject
Size of the rebar/reinforcing steel
Bar type
Heat #
Material Test Report
Pounds Identified
Pounds Placed
Required # of bend test samples and tension test samples
Identifies the number of samples taken
Identifies the number of test results that have not been reported
Action column allows you to view, edit or add more steel to this particular heat # and bar size
When you click the green Add New Reinforcing Steel Material ID button a two part form will come up.
Part A requires you to input:
Project or subproject
Indicate if the rebar was or was not identifiable (per the building code)
For reinforcing bars found to be identifiable, sample two (2) bars from every 10 tons (20,000 lbs.), or fraction thereof, for each size of rebar.
For unidentifiable reinforcing bars or jobsite sampling, sample two (2) bars from every two and one-half tons (5,000 lbs.), or fraction thereof, for each size of rebar.

After you complete adding in the basic information you are returned to the log.
Click on Add Lbs in the action column and a new window will pop up allowing you to input:
The reinforcing steel placement module allows you to identify where your rebar was placed. You can identify a lot more rebar than what is used in many cases, so your required tests are based off of the amount of this rebar being placed on the actual project. When you go to this page you will see a log showing the following:
Project/subproject
Bar size
Bar type
heat #
Pounds placed
Release #: this is the identifying number that rebar fabricators attach to your bundles to identify specific bars
Planset
Plansheets
When you click Add New Reinforcing Pounds Placed a form will open up allowing you to input the information. This pulls from the material ID log so make sure you input the information there first.
